Most physicists will probably be familiar with this as the theory was put forward more than 2 years ago. However this is probably pretty new to most of us muggles. Martin Bojowald of the Pennsylvania State University, USA is the genius behind this and I will not even attempt to explain what it is as I will probably get it terribly wrong.
