just opened up my old iPod. I’ve now got a 20GB hard disk (2nd gen so yes, it is a hard disk) to play with but I don’t know if it’s working. #

Laptop crash…

The notebook I am currently using (belonging to a friend on mine, since my pc still isn’t in working order, yet) has crashed! All my work, including the files for a project I am working on that’s due on FRIDAY, is on the notebook. I can’t load anything. Whenever I switch on the notebook it says “NTDETECT failed” and then it restarts. It was working fine 4 hours ago but…sigh. Anyways I will try to recover as many files as I can from the hard disk tomorrow using a Ubuntu Live CD before I try to repair the install. Hopefully it’ll all go well (*fingers crossed*)
